description

Glyph is the result of 15 prototypes developed over 18 months. It is a shoe we plan on never finishing.

The shoe upper is constructed from a blend of knitted fibers and is fully recyclable. It is designed to perfectly shape to the foot inside it. Because the upper is knitted directly from the fiber spools, there is no waste as there is when a material is cut from a pattern.

The midsole is attached to the outsole using Strobel Construction. The process of stitching these components together (instead of cementing them) allows for the shoe to be lighter, more flexible and  also insures that the shoe will last for a much longer period of time.

one pair of shoes

  • digitally knit

Glyphs are digitally knit using  recyclable fibers and advanced robotics. The result is an upper that is both sleek and light, and that shapes around the foot for a perfect fit for everyone.

  • all day comfortable

Each outsole is formed from a specially designed compression mold in order to maximize arch support. Glyphs are designed to be walked in all day.

  • water adaptive

Glyphs are knitted with an advanced fiber that is both water resistant and washable. Wear them in the rain. Throw them in the washing machine.

  • anti-microbial

The insole of each shoe is treated with an antimicrobial coating designed to last. Wear Glyphs with or without socks.
